Double Premier League success
2007 was an exceptional year for North Sydney Soccer club! Both our Men's and Women's Premier League Soccer Teams were Premiership Champions. Many other teams were winners or runners ups. North Sydney Soccer Club won the Club Championship (given by the KDSA) across all clubs for the best win:loss ratio - 4th time in last 6 years! 2nd on the other 2 occasions! Over 35s players for Division 1
The over 35 First Division has become particularly strong in recent years, with many ex-pros and ex-socceroos now involved. The standard is very high. If you are 35 and looking for a new challenge please contact Mark Armstrong or call him on 0418 464545.
Training and trials January & March
Please note the football season begins in early April and finishes in late August.
Mens Premier League football squad and AA2 Football Squad
- Training: Tuesday & Thursday at Forsyth Park (upper) from 6.30-8.30pm.
- Starts: 15 January (Tues) & 17 January (Thurs). Meet at Montpelier and Premier Streets, Neutral Bay. Bring running shoes, boots and water to every session in January & February.
- From March: Training venue switches to Cammeray oval 7-9pm.
Men's AA3 & AA4 soccer squads
Please note there are changes from previous years.
- Training begins 29 January 2008: Tuesdays only at Forsyth Park (lower) from 6.30-8.30pm.
- Thursday training: Starts 31 January and finishes 27 March at Waverton Oval from 6.30-8.30pm
All Women's soccer squads (All Age)
- Training: 29 January 2008 to 26 March on Wednesday nights at Forsyth Park from 6.30-8.30pm.
Men's OVER 35s Squads
- Training: From 6 March on Wednesday nights at Forsyth Park from 6.30-8.30pm.
Training Ground Locations:
Forsyth Park - Montpelier Street, Neutral Bay
Cammeray Oval - Ernest St, Cammeray
Waverton Park - Woolcott St, Waverton
NB: Please remember grounds are very scarce and we have one of the best opportunities for the ratio of players to grounds. Remember you are sharing the timeslots with other club members so please respect the need to make the most of this as there are no other grounds or times available.
This is January to March only - season training has yet to be allocated by council.
